Abbi was part of the 11 swimmer Blue Fins team that was in Kamloops the first weekend in June. She was with a lot of great local swimmers in a meet that included swimmers from the lower mainland, the okanagan, the Yukon and even a team from Sandpoint, Idaho.
It was the last chance for Abbi to get an "A" time for her 50 metre freestyle and that was the first race she was in and she did it! The "A" time for girls 12 and under, long course, is 38.76, Abbi's previous best time was 39.81 and Abbi swam this 50 metres free in 37.03.
